A collection of sculptural objects that connect physical form, digital interaction, and personal health narratives within a gamified framework.

About description

Dr. Root’s Health Quest “Player Totems” is a series of sculptural objects created as part of a gamified health experience. Limited to 99 unique forms, each totem represents a distinct persona connected to the idea of why individuals seek to be healthy. The totems function as both physical artifacts and points of entry into a larger interactive system that merges physical and virtual engagement.

Each totem is designed to align participants with personal wellness goals, using visual identity and symbolism to encourage reflection and participation. Curated under the direction of Dr. Hayley Root, the Health Quest framework is structured to support health literacy and engagement across different life stages, using play and interaction as tools for learning and motivation.
