Christina Forbes

Dr. Christina Forbes is the Director of Research at ElectraTect, where she oversees the chemistry and engineering that supports the development of a marijuana breathalyzer test. Her research experience comes from a diverse background in chemistry, from synthesizing molecules, to studying biochemical structures, to designing electrocatalysts inspired from Nature. She also has a passion for science outreach with the general public, and loves to connect chemistry phenomena to the world that we see.

Christopher Wharton is a nutrition professor at Arizona State University’s College of Health Solutions. His research supports diet- and sustainability-related behavior change, with an emphasis on practical application. His work empowers individuals to reduce food waste, adopt healthier and more affordable diets, and contribute to a more sustainable food future.

Chuck Via creates hundreds of origami koi to swim in a school around any space. He also make smaller versions in shadow boxes of the large installations.

Cyd Peroni is a visual artist whose work explores change, impermanence, and beauty through nature, chance, and science. Influenced by abstract expressionism, she experiments with both contemporary and historical image-making methods and materials to communicate ideas through process and form.

Cynthia Ivy

Cindy Ivy is a clinical professor of Occupational Therapy at Northern Arizona University (NAU) at the Phoenix Bioscience Core. Her research has focused on interventional research for hand and upper extremity and Parkinson’s Disease. She teaches anatomy to occupational therapy, physical therapy and physician assistant students at NAU and University of Arizona medical students. She also teaches a number of other classes including a course on the upper extremity with Dr. Bachman.

Daniel is Polish American artist working with memory, cultural identity, and the meaning carried by everyday objects, gestures, and small moments. His work grows out of close looking and experimentation, often leaving room for chance to play a role.
