Candice Diaz is a third-generation Arizonian and graduate of Arizona State University. After retiring from technical report work, she pursued further education in drawing and painting with a focus on watercolor. Her background in graphic design influenced her interest in marbling with sumi ink, combining structured forms with fluid processes.

Candice Wike is a member of TGen’s START team, where she supports scientists in integrating new technologies into their research. Her work spans a wide range of scientific projects, allowing her to engage with diverse research questions. She lives in Arizona with her husband and two children.

Chad Stecher

Chad Stecher is an Assistant Professor in the College of Health Solutions at Arizona State University. As a behavioral health economist, his research focuses on the habit formation process and the design of interventions to establish and maintain healthy habits. Dr. Stecher has tested multiple mobile health interventions for promoting habitual physical activity, mindfulness meditation, and medication adherence in the U.S. and Sub-Saharan Africa. His work identifies successful techniques for initiating and maintaining health behaviors and explores how these approaches can be personalized to increase their efficacy.

Chana Deni Schlossmacher

Chana Deni Schlossmacher developed an early interest in both art and science, which deepened after creating a biology department mural during high school. She studied painting at Arizona State University and later refined her sculptural practice, completing cast bronze works with Bollinger Atelier.

Charmagne Vasquez

Charmagne Vasquez is an artist of abstract and symbolist painting and drawing. She studied at Northern Arizona University, earning a BA in elementary education and a minor in art. Her informal education was in a family of musicians and visual artists. Her surrealistic and current natureful works have been internationally represented, published and exhibited. She is deeply impacted by Arizona, Pacific Northwest and other biomes. Her current direction contrasts nature and societal paradigms through creating multifaceted layers and meanings. Charmagne now resides in Phoenix. Her works are held in international public and private collections.

Chris Ignacio

Chris Ignacio is a Filipino-American puppeteer, producer, educator, and interdisciplinary artist whose work explores the intersection of voice, technology, and identity. He holds an MFA in Theatre/Interdisciplinary Digital Media from Arizona State University, where he teaches motion capture and 3D animation. He is the Creative Producer for the T. Denny Sanford Harmony Institute at ASU.
